STUDENT LIFE AT RBA

CHAPEL

Exciting chapel services will be held every Thursday throughout the year. All full-time RBA students are required to attend these services. The staff will monitor behavior during the service. All church members and home school children are welcome to attend any chapel service.

CHURCH SERVICES

PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES

As the educational ministry of Regency Baptist Church, all students are expected to attend Sunday school, Sunday AM Service, Sunday PM Service, and Midweek Service. Students are also expected to attend regular church services while on vacation or out of town. Family emergencies and sickness are exceptions to this rule.

We believe that extra-curricular school activities are a special honor, as well as an important part of a student’s balanced education. Exciting programs and activities complement the academic life of our students. These include field trips, reward trips, class competitions, Spirit Week and other activities. All students are expected to take part in these events. Parents may attend to with approval from their student's teachers.

GRADUATION

At the end of the school year, a formal Graduation will be held for students graduating from kindergarten and high school. An Awards Ceremony will be held at the same time to recognize students with exemplary performance during the school year. Attendance at the Graduation and Awards Ceremony is mandatory for all Regency Baptist Academy students.

DRESS STANDARDS

EARNING FOR LEARNING

Regency Baptist Academy believes the styles of clothing and manner of grooming we choose to follow are a personal matter lying in the realm of Christian liberty. We believe the Bible establishes at least three minimum standards for Christian dress:

  • Modesty   (I Tim. 2:9-11; 2 Tim. 2:22)
  • Distinction   (I Cor. 11:14-15)
  • Identification  (I Tim. 4:12; Rom. 12:1-2; I Jn. 2:25)

The dress code is in effect on school and church property and in effect at all school/church sponsored activities.

The Earning For Learning (EFL) Program of Regency Baptist Academy is a way to teach students responsibility, hard work and perseverance. Students eligible to join the program are involved in fund-raising activities to help financially support their schooling, sports and other school and church events.

For more information about the EFL Program and to see if your student is eligible to participate, please contact our Principal, Bro. AJ Nichols.
