One of the positive benefits of a school athletic program is the development of healthy attitudes toward competition and of winning and losing in life. Just as learning how to lose and win gracefully is an important part of competition, so is learning how to compete vigorously while keeping emotions and attitudes under control in a way that honors Christ.
Competitive sports give our students opportunities to develop physical coordination, confidence, sportsmanship, and Christian character. Students who participate in sports must with their parents decide if they can participate in all practices, games and tournaments. Commitment to the team is important for success in athletics.
The highlight of the the athletic program of Regency Baptist Academy is the
BEST OF THE WEST TOURNAMENT.
Teams from all over the West Coast (and other states) come together for a 3-day Basketball and Volleyball competition.
