BEST OF THE WEST 2026

   Get ready for an unforgettable week at the 10th Annual Best of the West Tournament, coming to Rocklin, California, Tuesday–Thursday, November 17–19, 2026! As we celebrate TEN YEARS of competition, fellowship, and preaching, we invite your team to experience a tournament unlike any other. Best of the West is more than an athletic event—it is a Christ-centered experience where excellence on the court is paired with spiritual growth that can last a lifetime.


   Each day features exciting basketball and volleyball competitions in an atmosphere that promotes teamwork, character, and Christ-honoring sportsmanship. The evenings offer opportunities for spiritual encouragement and fellowship, beginning with our Teen Revival on Tuesday night and followed by a Formal Banquet on Wednesday evening. We are excited to welcome Pastor Stephen R. Nichols, "The Singin' Preacher," as this year's guest speaker.


   For ten years, God has used Best of the West to impact the lives of students from across the West Coast, and we are looking forward to seeing Him work once again in 2026. Our desire is that every player leaves not only a better athlete, but with a stronger walk with Christ and a renewed desire to serve Him.


  From the opening game to the final sermon, every detail of Best of the West is planned with excellence and purpose. Our commitment is to provide a first-class tournament that honors the Lord, encourages Christian schools, and creates memories that will last long after the final buzzer. FEES:

$105 =  Athletes

$50 = Non-athlete students

$25 =  Banquet Fee (for Coaches and adults attending)

NOTE: Banquet tickets must be prepaid. Banquet tickets are limited—purchase early,

  as availability during the tournament is not guaranteed.   


DEADLINES:

October 24, 2026 = Registration Forms

November 1, 2026 =  Payment

After November 1, 2026 =  Late fee of $20/student will be added

   The bracket schedule will be sent by November 1st so that teams can plan accordingly. The schedule will be based on the distance of the participating schools, league opponents, and competitive balance. All teams are guaranteed FOUR (4) games.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

PLEASE NOTE: Registration starts at 9am and Award Ceremony will end at 4pm on Thursday. 


   Both Division 1 & Division 2 Basketball & Volleyball Teams can register to play in the Tournament. Each team is guaranteed 4 games.


   The only charge for Coaches/Staff is the $25 Banquet Ticket. This can be purchased online when registering. A complimentary breakfast buffet will be available for all Coaches & Pastors at the gym each morning, as well as coffee, drinks & snacks throughout the day.


   The $105 Registration Fee ($120 if payment is made after November 1st) for each player covers the following:

  • Tuesday Dinner
  • Wednesday Banquet & Dinner
  • Tournament T-Shirt
  • Player Fee for Participating in Tournament


   Parents of players are welcome to attend the Banquet as well! Tickets can be purchased when registering or in-person during the Tournament. Each senior will be honored and recognized during our Banquet. We hope many parents are able to attend.


   Any additional attendees at the Tournament outside of players & coaches will need to pay a gym entry fee upon arrival. The cost of gym entry for the entire week is $10. 


   Many schools in the past have brought additional students who do not play on a team so they can participate in the Teen Revival, Banquet and cheer on their school! We look at our Tournament as more than a competition and strive to place an emphasis on the PREACHING! We hope many students are able to attend. For these students, a registration fee of $50 can be paid to cover:

  • Tuesday Dinner
  • Wednesday Banquet & Dinner
  • Tournament T-Shirt
  • Gym Entry for the Week
